Some practical advice on how to increase the success rate of your sales meetings

Do you have enough leads and enough meetings, but you aren't happy with your success rate? Do you want to increase your successes, sign more contracts and increase the average volume of your sales? Here are several pieces of practical advice on how to achieve that.

Tailor your offer to your customer

A frequent problem that causes low conversion rates is too little personalization, i.e. adjusting your offer according to the specific needs of the prospect. Try to use universal solutions as little as possible.

Work on your sales script

A quality sales script is essential for success in sales. Work on it continuously and add solutions to new situations you experience. You don't have a sales script? Then start working on it immediately. 

Motivate customers to make their decision immediately

As the HubSpot blog states, ideally, the first meeting with a client should end with signing a contract. At the very least, you should get them to express their opinions and agree on the next, clearly defined, steps of the sales process.

Induce a feeling of urgency

Temporary offers, limited editions or descriptions of what will happen if they don't deal with their situation right now can be used to create a sense of urgency, an important step towards getting to a successful close.

Keep learning

When was the last time you had some training? When was the last time you gave up your usual procedures and thought about new options and methods? Initiative and new impulses are, in the long run, one of the pillars of success in sales.
